Here's something I discovered recently. The use of sculpture tools as bone folder.
I fold my papers with the help of bonefolder, the ones that I have (on right, the two white plastic) really aren't to my liking, they just don't feel comfortable in my hand and the plastic tip do not work well while scoring either. It sort of "melts" away as I put preasure on it. I have been looking to replace my bonefolder but the ones I found just don't feel right, until I chance upon these wooden clay sculpture tools and thought to give it a try, and to my delight I love it! I love the wooden feel and I love holding them too, perhaps it's my small hands? It has a sharp tip and works great for scoring papers.
I am in love with my new bone folder. All I did was give it a little rub with beeswax and was ready for use.
Folding paper days just got a little better already.
My latest journal entry is a quote by Byron Katie. I love her wise words.
In the garden...
Seedlings are in, among other leafy greens are these red Russian kale, they did not fair well the last time I planted so I am trying again this year. Hopefully they will do better.
Tat soi. It has become my favorite, it grows fast, can be used in many ways and I love the taste too.
Seeds are in, not sure if I have enough space for them all but I just can't help myself, I want to plant so many things! :)
The chrysanthenum (ajania pacifica) blooming, not sure why but the petals aren't opening fully but gets crinkled up. They are pretty as they are, crinkled or not.
More cleaning up in the garden this weekend. Weeds are growing fast.
Have a wonderful weekend!
